Style Staples – Men’s Edition

Regardless of their budget, style or shape men want to be well-dressed. Sometimes even giving women a run for their money. I kid I kid (or am I)! Seriously though, men want to upkeep a closet with pieces that are functional for their everyday style needs; just as much as the ladies. It all begins with embodying a transitional style aesthetic through the pieces in a wardrobe that will withstand the test of time (seasons, trends, etc…); awhile keeping any fella looking sharp all year round.

Who doesn’t like unique pieces in there wardrobe? Are those pieces really useful is the real questions?! So to properly create any look, men must understand why they need certain articles of clothing in their wardrobe arsenal.

They must keep in mind that:

  1. Each piece should act as the foundation for any outfit or style worn.
  2. Each piece should compliment other items in a wardrobe when put together.
  3. Each piece should completely be interchangeable with the rest of the wardrobe.
  4. Each piece should work for many occasions/situations (business, casual, weddings, funerals, etc…).

Style varies, so the below list aims to encompass a solid foundation of style staples for many style types (with tweaks here and there of course). These building block pieces will make it easier to start saving time (YES TIME!) and money, as well as feeling and looking your best with the smallest of efforts.
